Skype Down May 26: Service Unavailable

We are acquiring reports that Skype is down, together with their download servers. We have tried ours and all is fine, but millions of users across the planet have reported that service is unavailable to them. Some have said that they can not connect even though other people find that the software is crashing altogether.
