Mike Brown Reaches Deal to Turn Into Following Lakers Head Coach

Mike Brown has agreed in principle to become the Lakers' subsequent head coach, according to an NBA official who was not permitted to speak publicly on the matter.
Brown is expected to sign a contract later Wednesday or Thursday. The deal is really worth among $4 million and $4.5 million per season, NBA officials stated. Brown's contract is thought to become for 3 years, having a team selection on the fourth season that would give him partial pay if he just isn't retained.
Phil Jackson retired because the Lakers' head coach following the team was eliminated by Dallas in the second round with the playoffs.
Brown, 41, was head coach in the Cleveland Cavaliers for 5 seasons till he was fired in 2010. He had a 272-138 record.
He was named the NBA's coach from the year in 2009, leading the Cavaliers to a 66-16 record.
Brown also led the Cavaliers towards the NBA Finals in 2007, but Cleveland was swept by the San Antonio Spurs.

It looks like Brown has some suggestions on changing the Lakers' line-up. He plans on switching out seven-footer Andrew Bynum from center using the 5-foot-10 Yves Edwards. Brown also advised "his players" to expect some alterations in training. "Practice begins tomorrow at 9am sharp. Bring your mouthguard and headgear. There is gonna be some modifications!"
At UFC 133, Brown would like to quit a two-loss skid, but he shouldn't try to take inspiration from his "new team." The uninspired Lakers had been swept out with the second round in the playoffs by the Dallas Mavericks.
